Manufacturing Challenges to Achieve 0 DPM for ADAS Subsystems

The electronics content of the Automobile is increasing significantly, driven by electrification, connectivity, displays and ADAS. ADAS systems require high octane computing power and utilize a set of semiconductor ICs originating in the consumer electronics space. More extensive device and ECU level solutions will be required to assure ADAS products are operationally validated, with the objective of zero defect escapes to end-customers.

About the Speaker

Jason has been in the Semiconductor Automatic Test Equipment business for 26 years. He is currently the vice president and general manager of the SOC business group at Teradyne. The SOC business group provides Automatic Test Equipment solutions for the automotive and mobility markets and their SOC devices including Microcontrollers, Image Sensors, IGBT, Power Modules, Applications Processor and RF Transceivers. In his 26 years, Jason has held multiple roles including Engineering, Marketing, Global Services. Jason is a native of Singapore and currently resides in Massachusetts, USA.
