Recruiting PRC Students Industry members have exceptional advantages in recruiting PRC students. Students who have completed PRC programs have received the maximum amount of training obtainable prior to entering the full time work force in the electronics industry. Since the industry plays a vital role in shaping the curricula and in mentoring our students, our programs prepare students to "hit the ground running" when they arrive to begin their careers in design, research and development, manufacturing/engineering or business development. Their foundation is broad and provides an understanding of fundamental sciences such as physics and chemistry, yet specialized also in the engineering areas most needed by the electronics industry. Because the curricula is highly cross-disciplinary, a mechanical engineering major from PRC will also have experience in electrical engineering, chemical engineering, etc. and visa versa. He/she will also understand manufacturing and assembly from design, -to build, -to operate. Additionally, our Practice Oriented Masters/SOP program students are educated in business, communication skills, leadership and management. PRC provides resume
posting services for students at all degree levels. Each semester,
members are given the opportunity to preview resumes at the PRC member
website where resumes are posted for a period of approximately 30
days before being moved into PRC's public web. Members may also utilize
PRC's periodic Industrial Advisory Board (IAB) meetings to meet one-on-one
with selected students for employment interviews. For more information
about recruiting, please contact the PRC at 404-894-9097 or by e-mail
