GIT 2011 by the Numbers
Overall, 138 industry experts, educators, researchers, and students attended GIT 2011. Attendees represented 78 companies and 13 universities. They traveled from 11 countries and 22 states within the U.S. On the whole, participants listened to 34 presentations, including 8 keynote speakers, and viewed 24 poster presentations. 16 Session Chairs and 2 General Chairs outstandingly contributed to the success of the workshop where 4 Best Student Papers were awarded with cash prizes totaling $2,000. All the while, we enjoyed 106 gallons of coffee, and 12 dozen ice cream sandwiches. Not bad for an inaugural Interposer Technology Event!
