Call for Proposals - International Programs at the PRC

Deadline was March 1, 2003. This page for informational purposes only.

A major objective of the Packaging Research Center (PRC) is to improve the microelectronic packaging research and education all around the world. Therefore, special interest is focused on affording opportunities for packaging faculty and doctoral students from other countries to conduct research and gain experience in one of the thrust research areas of the PRC. To meet this objective PRC provides funding for faculty and graduate students to develop creative modes of collaborative interactions with the Center. The primary goal of this program is to introduce international faculty and students to the PRC activities in the context of a research laboratory and to initiate personal relationships that will better enable them to collaborate with US counterparts in the future. The program is three months long and starts on about May 15, 2003 and ends August 15, 2003. Mechanisms suggested below are examples only and proposers are encouraged to modify or adapt them to meet individual needs.
